The main organs of the town are the mayor and the town council. The tasks of the mayor include management of the town administration and implementing the decisions made by the town council. The mayoress, Birgit Collin-Langen was re-elected by the inhabitants in 2003 and began her second period of office on 1 August 2004. The period in office lasts eight years.
Together with mayor Feser and deputies Hanne an Klöckner the mayoress is in charge of the administration.
The administration is located in Burg Klopp (Klopp Castle), in addition to offices in other buildings.
The employees see themselves as a part of a transparent and modern administration, and will gladly help if there are any queries.
