Bingen treasure hunt – the satellite-based circular tour of the town.

The modern treasure hunt with satellite navigation. Go on the treasure hunt and get to know Bingen and the new Outdoor Fun. Discover places in Bingen, which you would probably never have found on your own, and enter yourself in our logbook. But be careful: the Bingen treasure hunt can infect you!



The tour is free of charge. GPS devices can be hired at the Tourist Information Office and cost €4 per tour, with a deposit of either €50 or the identity card or passport.

Guided tours

The historical museum on the river –Hildegard von Bingen – has four permanent exhibitions. The large exhibition dealing with Hildegard von Bingen is in the former machine hall with the large stage. The world-renowned doctor’s instruments is in the treasure room with its columns. The Rhine Romanticism department makes the enthusiasm for the Rhine in the 19th century come to life in the historical salons and galleries. There is a permanent exhibition showing the history of Bingen from the beginnings until today, and that has been created since 2002. Special exhibitions complete the programme.
