Cycle-friendly Bingen
The town has set itself a target with its cycle-traffic concept “cycle-friendly Bingen”. And that is being implemented step by step. In addition to the further development and improvement of the cycle paths in the town, in 2007 there was signposting on the town’s cycle paths with a total length of 100 kilometres, in accordance with the motto “Instructions for signposting and tourist signs for the cycle traffic in Rheinland-Pfalz”. Bingen is contributing to this by making everyday use more pleasant and attractive.
As well as by bicycle, Bingen is easily reachable by rail, bus, ship and car.

Since 1 June 2007 you have been able to use a single ticket on the RNN and RMV operators to combine the Rhine ferry and bus and rail. More information you can find here.
Cycle hire and service
The Tourist Information Office offers as a Q workshop (service quality in Rheinland-Pfalz) quick help if there is a flat tyre or other problems with a cycle. At the office there is an air pump and repair equipment.
